why aren't there metal pedals with plastic cladding? it's all either full metal with studs that rip your shoes apart, full metal with rubber that lasts one season, full metal with nothing that's slipperier than prision soap or full plastic that's bendy and gross. plastic on top of metal is the perfect blend of durability and convenience.
