>>1637141I don't do it too often, only when it really needs it. More in the winter than the summer, usually just a good soaping and hose down followed by lubing up the chain etc.
Twice a year I do get it a proper service though, once at the end of summer and again during the spring. There's this bloke who picks it up, takes it to his workshop, does a thorough check up, adjusts everything that needs it and then drops it back, I clean it really well on those days before he collects it, he reapplies grease and lube during the service including seat post and pedals etc, bike is in great shape and I never had any problems in 7 years except occasional punctures.
