>>1637562Thought you were taking the piss out of my kitchen anon, fuck if you'd seen how hard it was to get that tap to run you's see it in a whole new light, anyway no hard feelings.
Been fertilizing the soil for 6 years, I'll be planting carrots, potatoes, leeks, onions, runner beans, pumpkins, marrows and cabbages next year, also erected a kind of greenhouse and will try tomatoes and lemons in the summer, also got some raised beds for herbs a fox proof chicken coup (currently unoccupied). There's a couple of streams and a large pond about a mile and half from my plot, set up some crude traps in one stream and caught a ton of crayfish, been told there's an abundance of trout too although I'm not much of a fisherman. There are plenty of sheep farmers round here too, it's famous for its lamb so I'll be buying some of them, the farmer I bought the land from said he's help me get set up. Went on a cheese making course a couple of years ago so I might get goats too.
Everything is set, I just need to get rid of the house and wait till next spring to start planting and getting in the livestock.
I'm a chef by trade, been working my socks off 7 months of the year and then living up at the barn in the summers doing it up, ngl it was hard fucking work, but rewarding seeing it all take shape, the missus is an accountant so she can work from home, she has her own house in wigan but if all goes well she'll sell up and join me.
