>>1639366Ah, I figured that since places like Lima Locomotive Works primarily built steam locomotives for railroads, they might be inclined to at least initially recycle the same basic designs when diversifying into the tractor business since that would negate the need for more tooling. But taking an aging narrow gauge steam locomotive and converting it into a traction engine also seemed just as feasible since even if they were no longer capable of safely operating at full power, the engine would still run at lower power since it doesn't have to pull hundreds of tons of rolling stock or run at especially high speeds but I digress.
