Great that Vancouver is building more rail (eventually). Just sad that I still wouldn't move there despite growing up in BC, because the salarie suck and homes priced are Hong Kong tier expensive.

Maybe that commuter line to langley will sprawl things out a bit

They almost completely built the plan from the early 1990s almost exactly like they planned. Commuter development is also almost tapped out and most homes built today are condos that feed ridership right into transit. Transit position is starting to become fairly dominant economically and movement wise. Also, public consultation on the full Broadway line already started.

Build the black. Also, create 1 singular transit agency for the metro area that actively coordinates commuter and metro rail together. Have it also run all busses on a consistent standard that actively feeds into the metro frequenty on as much of a grid as possible

I've only used them once lol
comfy seats and good 4G connection, never on time though. The Geelong and Melton lines currently run on v/line, and are always super packed. Not sure if this is the case anymore since covid

That current path is right where Ironworkers Bridge is. I could see it being built in part of a replacement bridge. That's what Montreal did, a 3rd deck for their REM line in the Champlain Bridge

That's Port Coquitlam. A small river separates PoCo and Coquitlam and there' only like 2 east west connections into each other. So it's still a bitch to use the skytrain from the Port Coquitlam despite it being so close on paper
