The entire place looks like it was built by 35 different architects, with each of them giving absolutely zero fucks about other people's designs. And it most likely was consider these areas are built with "progressive" new style of living mindset.
Every building looks different from the next one, yet each one manages to be dark as fuck and as usual the colors Finns use are horrendous and desaturated, or they simply look like something that a kindergartner with zero understanding of color harmony would have chosen.
Also these homes are really fucking expensive.
Unfortunately same goes for nearly all new construction area over here.
There's a bit of an explanation for the darkness and stuffiness in some of these cases though.
For example many of these new houses are first sold as ocean view properties, but no one ever tells the buyers that the area of construction usually expands further in the coming years, as the land gets filled and expanded towards the ocean.
This results in many of these sunny ocean view homes suddenly staring right at the side of a giant building that blocks the sunlight entirely and result is this dark mess.
