What's your opinion on the liveries and coloring of different vehicles? I live in Helsinki and I've been thinking about all the different colors we have here. The subway trains are orange but suburban trains are purple, even though they're almost the same thing. Trams are green, buses are blue and then the new light rails are going to be cyan to illustrate that they're not the same as the old trams. Compared to somewhere like Stockholm, where all rail vehicles are blue and buses are red, our approach seems pretty overdone. All of these are operated by the same company as well, so it's not a case of needing a different ticket for specific vehicles or anything

If you're in a city, would you prefer everything to share the same color scheme or to be color coded based on what the specific method of transport is? Or is it something you wouldn't even think about? This has been a discussion point among Finnish rail autists for a while, I'm curious what an outsider perspective to this would be

I'll add that the trams have been green for a hundred years, and the subways have been orange since the 70s, so there's some historical context for those and people are accustomed to those colors. But the trains and light rail are a total asspull that they only came up with recently
