They stepped into a market they knew nothing about and have tried to stimulate the creation of a seated death trap as a novelty replacement for their fleets of delivery vehicles
This company not only tried to bump my Workhorse Trike off the marketplace but they threw out a meager trivial overweight example of their "engineering". In turn they also will be trying to offer electric vehicles for the marketplace as an option but before doing that they made sure to ruin these useful ideas for their own marketing upsell.
Any vehicle that you cannot see around or behind while operating is considered extremely unsafe so therefore they lose as the massive frame and body combo and the addition of the e drive motors brings it up to close to 250lbs or more ..... before you load it with packages.
Have fun getting in and out of its tight compartment when you really need to jump clear of the vehicle. And have fun backing it into a parking space.
I personally called out Workhorse and called attention to their sprawling market, their inflated investments, and the dirty practices of their company when referencing my projects to the Govt of Ireland. I made concessions to numerous people in the UK throughout a period of time when they stepped into the market and tried to take control of my branded products by throwing their POS onto the streets
Now the results will show that these concepts even when made by the "best in the business" will be useless, even though there are people that are waiting to demonstrate their ideas as a functional replacement of a vehicle
