>>1647526I've spent some time in DA40s but they're -180s with the gas engine and CS prop. I love the things, so much easier to fly than a 172 (taxiing fucking blows though) and the school I was flying with had pretty good uptime with them, but they did seem to have a lot of trouble with their DA42NG's diesels so I'm not too surprised to hear about reliability issues with the 40NG.
