>>1648864I love to do that, doesn't have to be that warm as long as the sun is shining. I sometimes have a destination in mind but not the route, I just like to take random turnings, always cutting through alleyways or little used tracks. I have two main bikes, one is a hybrid, basically a road bike with flat handlebars and 28mm tyres, if I'm planning on an urban adventure I tend to take that, I also have a nice old MTB, so If I'm thinking about heading to the woods or along riverside tracks etc I take that one out.
It's so nice to get out and just ride for the sake of riding, I love my commute as it's quite a nice route, several possible routes actually and all fairly scenic, but ultimately it's an enforced ride, I'm not choosing to do it I have to do it, but on a day off when the weather is fine nothing blows the cobwebs away like a bike ride to wherever.
