I'm not doxxing myself by posting my actual bike or gear, but my last ride was 121 minutes. I was on a normal $2000 road bike. Maybe closer to $3000 actually with the pedals, saddle, and electronics.

I got passed by a guy on an S works tarmac and another guy on a speedmax. Everyone else was passed by me. Got stuck behind a car at one point on a narrow descent and even though I got a PR it could have been better.

The only women I saw who weren't invisible (because they were on shit bikes) were just girlfriends pretending to enjoy bikes with their boyfriends. Oh except this one chick on a Liv, how gullible do you have to be to fall for that "bikes for women" shit? More boys should become girls so that heterosexual men who want a riding partner they can fuck don't have to debase themselves and make a mockery of cycling.

Finally a thread for me to post in

My new chinese trispokes custom fitted with XDR hub finally arrived. My power level is close to completion.
After the 1x conversion, I don't need the left shifter lever. I'll replace it with a 2nd front brake lever so this machine becomes less of a death trap.
Please note the oval chainring, the 9-39 cassette and the mountain bike pedals.

Here's your fucking mistake. I've got a bike that's got to be one of a kind and I've posted various photos of it here. And the only people who could recognize me from it are those that have seen the bike in real life.

The secret is not using social media outside of anonymous message boards. Or if you have to then at least not posting any identifiable information about yourself. And even on anonymous boards you don't want to combine posts that have identifiable information, like pictures of your unique bike, and other shit.

There is some race footage from my bike but in those it just looks like your average bike from that brand.

Do you have a link or name?

At first I wanted to go all out with full hydro disk setup and integrated brifters for bar ends, pic rel. (Shimano Metrea)
But that would have made everything a lot more expensive.

If you're looking for simple (non interrupter) brake levers and can manage internal cable routing for the handlebars then Shimano BL-TT78/BL-TT79 levers are worth a look. They have neat touches like spring preload to stop rattling and adjustable reach.

Most wheels are made in PRC, are you scared too?
Mine have a lot less parts that could fail and they are also not perticularly lightweight so I don't really worry about them failing. The fact I can't brake in the aero position is a lot more dangerous.

These are the ones I already have and also the one I'll use for the 3rd brake.
Previously, I tried to find TT bar mount levers, which I haven't seen before. They all seem to be bar end mount.

Assuming it's an actual competitive race: did you actually train specifically for racing? If you did then you're probably as ready as the rest of the novice racers. If you didn't purposefully train: you might have a bad time at it and get dropped at some point.
