>>1660085it will have a few, but so does Bank of America. the most plausible answer for why there aren't that many asian american/pacific islander pilots at boeing is mostly down to there not being that many of them in general (6.5% of the total US population), not that many pilots in the US (633,317 in 2018), and only a relatively small number at Boeing. (which has 143,000 employees total including subsidiaries, of which only a small number will be pilots) then if you want to go further: even if there were lots of asian american/pacific islander pilots at boeing (which i doubt simply because of the odds), because boeing is primarily a manufacturer it's obviously going to highlight the workers who work directly in manufacturing related roles rather than their small number of pilots. (you might note that the image doesn't highlight how many of them are cleaners.)
on top of that, it's worth remembering that boeing seemingly outsourced a large part of their airline training programs to other companies and fired the in-house guys, though in late 2020 they may have hired 160 in a similar role. (as "global engagement officers" who are presumably based in large part outside the US, and as such may be quite Asian and maybe even pacific islander but not so American.)
