The first and last set of Pasela PTs I ever used had tons of sharp edges along the wire bead and would puncture any tubes installed before I took a file to them. I’ve used dozens of different bicycle tires throughout my life and this was the only time I ever experienced a tire that required modification to function normally. An absolute shit tire, not in my opinion, but as a matter of fact.

- cheap as dirt
- excellent rolling rolling resistance comparable to medium range road tires
- lighter than typical commuting tires

Too bad it only exists with a wire bead unlike the Ultrasport II

I lived for a few years in a area with so much glass, that I flattened 3 Tires in 2 weeks.
Since then I only go with Schwalbe Marathon Plus.
This fucking area even managed to puncture 2 of them in 2 Years. They looked like spike tires just with glass instead of metal pins.
Fuck I hate this area, had to switch the tires once a year and remove the glass every month.

Now I don't actually need those anymore, but I am traumatized
