- can buy second hand or "new" frames for < £80
put them together for a cheap pub bike? idk what you think of this. I have some of my ancient bikes in my parents shed and have thought about doing this for a commute bike, or I thought with 3+7 MTB gears could probably make a pretty solid tourer

is this a stupid idea? obviously compatibility might be a no go but it's a free SIS 7 speed groupset
