What are your favorite things to smell when you're riding the bike? For me it's riding past suburbs in summer, someone always has a barbecue going.

Here in Minneapolis/Saint Paul a lot of people have lilac bushes planted in their yards and they always give off a potent smell in the springtime

It didn't smell, it was reasonably fresh. Since posting that I came across a dead deer while driving in my cage (just lying in the road, poor thing, I had to go into oncoming traffic to avoid it because whoever hit it just fucking left it there.)
I also frequently cycle past a barn that is used to "store" dead sheep (this is in rural norf bongistan), the smell is unforgettable and it's worse every time.
