I did raise the saddle after this. I have a hard time with bike fit though because I'm straddling the line between a small and a medium frame, Im a manlet with retarded proportions.

Inflation, marketing, etc. I think bike choices are deplorable. You can have a POS from Walmart or you can pay out the nose. I know my bike was overpriced, but I make enough money now that I'm just biting the bullet. I've been riding rigid 80s and 90s mountain bikes since I was a kid and this Krampus is the only bike Ive had that's newer than the year 2000.

Here's my other bike. It's actually an 86. It's just not geared low enough for some riding I'm doing and I don't want to butcher (or "modernize") it, it's really nice as is.

So if i was you i'd try lurk for a good deal on some wheels with narrower rims. 2.6" max.
