Depends on what you're trying to achieve. Personally I like seatpost hitches more than axle mounted hitches because of the superior turning angle in both directions and the ability to use them as a handcart when detached, but axle mounted ones leave room on the bike for a rear rack or child carrier and have less of an effect on the bike's handling. Similarly you can make arguments about one wheeled ones (normally can't tip in corners) vs two wheeled ones (easier to load when parked) or about smaller ones vs larger ones or all sorts of other things, and it's all a matter of what you're trying to do.
