If we're dreaming, I'd like to see the Feds sign off on hover-stepping and fast-roping, and more use of big helicopters as combined bucket platforms and troop shuttles. Imagine the horsepower you could put on an initial attack with a Chinook. 20+ guys and a 1500 gallon bucket. Boise Helitack is working on this, though only with a Blackhawk, and that's probably gonna be the platform that gets adopted for the kind of work I'm asking for.
