Why are gokart-style vehicles not used more in developing countries?
They seem like the ideal form of motorized transport from a cost/maintainability perspective, far better than the tuktuks / motobikes that seem to dominate these countries.

>The frame is just welded steel tubes. I don't think there's any other form of motorized transport that would be this easy to repair or build from scratch.
>All the parts are generic, there's no proprietary parts you need to buy, you can just chuck anything on the frame.
>There's no panels to get scratched.
>More stable than a bike, probably far superior suspension too.
>Can fit a bigger engine than a bike, a bigger fuel tank, thicker tires etc.
