>>1688370I used to fly from the US to Europe several times a year. Nothing too crazy like a businessman but a modest 30 to 40k miles a year. I used to fly exclusively with Delta. When I managed to get into the upper-tier 'member' scheme things got a lot more interesting regarding perks. Several of my trips per year were either comped Business Class for international and First Class for domestic. Bar none- Business Class is fucking sweet especially when you didn't pay for it, BUT absolutely not worth the airfare unless a company is paying your fare. Also, access to the Delta Club with everything comped was also pretty nice. There was nothing like scheduling a layover in Atlanta and jumping into the club to have a real meal and take a hot shower with everything provided for you before jumping on your cross-Atlantic flight. Unfortunately you would need to reach Silver before you're kind of treated like a human again such as pre- 9/11.
