not all roads are equal
roads with heavy bus and truck traffic will be fucked up, especially at bus stops, roads that were dug up for cables and pipes will have uneven patches everywhere, the ones with the super steep sides for water drainage are a death trap, etc

red light? jump the curb or just use the crosswalk if you’re waiting to turn
clear bike line? ride there
park/pedestrian zone? cut through
