>>1694702>30 miles round tripget an extra charger and keep it at work, then you don't have to worry at all
the rad bikes fully recharge in 8 hours, but there is no significant loss in battery life from having bad charging hygiene, you don't need to deplete it to 20% and then charge it to at least 80% like a cell phone or laptop recommends, you can just do whatever the fuck you want with the bike batteries. You can overcharge them at 4amps for quick charging but that will shorten the batterie's lifespan
buy the extra charger when you buy the bike to save on shipping costs, and leave the charger at work, also buy whatever else you are going to want from rad when you buy the bike, a lot of their shit is proprietary which is fucking gay
also if you have access to a 3d printer (local public library or friend or whoever) there are all kinds of free models for stupid little add on shit like throttles and battery covers and pannier adaptors and stuff
Get the $50 or $100 or whatever it is refer a friend coupon, literally go to the sub reddit for rad bikes and just ask some stranger for a referral code if you don't personally know anyone else who wants to buy one.
>brakes / cablesit's super easy, go on youtube and look for the parktool bike mechanic series videos.
and you are going to need to do brake adjustments when you set the bike up anyway, and then again maybe a week later
Brake cables are like $10 or $15, you just gotta figure out what thickness and length you need and then look for Jagwire or some other reputable brand
>gearingI have the rad runner, the throttle cuts off at 19-20 and it is almost impossible to pedal faster than 21-22 mph
fastest I have ever hit down a really steep little hill was like 30-35mph
