Why bother? A screen system like that is bought in bulk and costs them under $50. Everyone is supplied, everyone can watch from their seats on a large screen. Including eldery and people who don't understand technology. They also have full control over the system, aka they can send messages even while watching movies when to fasten your seatbelts or incoming turbulence (can't high-jack people watching on their smartphone).
It's just not worth it not having them.
