Not only that chartering an airliner is more expensive (especially for short haul flight and with a very small number of passengers), it also remove said airliner from revenue flight(s), so while the optics might favor the prez to fly with commercial airliner, the reality is that it's actually a waste of resource.
Still, it doesn't excuse third world irrelevant shitters to use airliners as their presidential jet. Just get a Dasault Falcon 7X or Gulfstream 650 and be done with it
