Why is it so difficult? Trying to book a bike ticket from the UK to Germany online but the only site I can do it on is bahn.de and they tell me to either

In UK you can take a bike on any train at any time except during rush hour free of charge. No ticket needed, no advance booking, just take it on and it's fine.

Of course you should use your brain, don't do it when it's busy, don't try to take in first class etc, but other than that just take your bike without any worry. I have been cycling and using trains for more than 12 years and only once did I get challenged, and that was on a Virgin train, but even then the inspector just said I was fine unless any disabled needed to use the space where my bike was situated.

UK is a pozzed islamified third world hell hole where the organized mass rape of children is a national open secret, but they are based when it comes to bikes on trains.

The German efficiency is built on overly complex systems that don't allow for points of failure. It's a fucking nightmare.
As for what to do, there are 2 options
1. Use the filter on bahn.de that shows only trains with bike carrying capacity.
2. Take RE trains instead of ICE trains. They don't require pre-reserving a space for your bike. It's practically a free for all at the station. You don't even need to buy a bike ticket because you just lock it up and sit upstairs.
The secret third, and correct option is, as another anon pointed out, to simply cycle to Germany you lazy fuck. It's like 7-10 days at a reasonable pace

Usually the train from Brussels would be an ICE so you can't take a bike with you. You need a regional train to the German border with a Belgian and German bike supplement bought at the station. But you are not allowed to board with a bike at Brussels-Central so there is no uniterrupted route that allows for bikes unless you go over Paris.
It's a complex route and they won't have all the different international ticket guidelines in their system anyways.
