>>1696845Yes you can, I did very similar a couple of years ago. It will be heavier and more flexible than a modern bike but honestly you won't care (unless you're a racer) because you'll have something beautiful, unique, and with smooth modern shifting.
First step is to take to a framebuilder with good reviews, ask him/her to respace rear stays to 130mm, check bottom bracket facing/threads, check threads on derailleur hanger, and obviously look at overall condition.
Do not just shove it in to 126mm spacing, it will be miserable every time you need to remove the rear wheel, not to mention won't ever shift properly.

>>1696974 said, you'll feel nice putting an Italian groupset on that Italian frame. Makes no difference but it's a good group and they do a silver version which will go nicely with that frame (hard to come by these days)
