>>1697115Boulderfag here, I know it's a smaller city, but yeah you don't need a car here at all, bike paths plus bike lanes go all over town, we have 30 miles of dedicated bike-highway between here and Denver to the south and they are slowly piecing together the same to the north for 2 other small cities in that direction.
they're planning to build lots more plus public transit, they just built a brand new small city centered around the google offices, a bus depot and a train station, but it's been 3 years the bus depot is built but hasn't opened yet and corona nuked the train funding so that's up in the air, but they built the new city with the expectation of google + bikes + trains so it's all bound to happen within the next decade.
Plus they're planning on breaking ground for another small city on the south edge of town within the next few months.
