I like to monitor ground traffic at my local airport. I work two miles straight south from their main runway so if anything cool is taking off soon I’ll walk outside to try and catch it. Can’t figure out how to do that on FlightAware, just werks on Flightradar24.

well, except for those rare times the president is in town and Air Force One is parked here

and about once a month the Air National Guard does some training shit at/around the airport, the sound is incredible

I never get anything really cool, there’s a daily md-11 flight I’ve been trying to catch for months but weather has yet to be conducive. Lots of private/business jets though, I’ve been trying to catch a Lear 35 that’s been in and out a lot lately.
