>>1700076>Just admit you're an authoritarian nutjob who dreams of being able to force everyone to live in pods and eat the bugs.not him, but i'm not sure anyone really wants that really anyway anon, think pods n' bugs are simply inevitable given where we're at in terms of population, climate, and resources though - sorry you're upset by this but perhaps you can find a way out of it ? by being incredibly wealthy perhaps, or going to live somewhere remote and removed from societal rules ? of course, the best way to avoid this would have been to work within the constraints of our environment as a species in the first place, not overshooting the carrying capacity of the planet by believing our mastery of tech made us exempt from basic rules of nature, not allowing the rules of human constructs like neoliberal capitalism to lull us into a false sense of comfort as they destroyed the planet around us etc... all a bit late for that now though, isn't it ?
if it makes you feel any better, think of a subsistence farmer in rural india or uganda perhaps, think how cozy you'll be in your pod with your bug bowl as his livelihood gets scorched and flooded, his animals more malnourished, his wife and kids sicker as famine takes hold - see, you still come out ahead !
