I tried to explain to a woman about this on a date and she looked at me like I was from the moon. I believe I also sperged out about how your breathing makes music with the sound of the chain.

Long story short, yes OP we all know it. Its rad as fuck but don't try to tell anyone or they will think you want to become a bicycle robot cyborg and need therapy.

Holy shit. For years, I would have dreams, where I’d be running, and to go faster I had this feeling of like digging, couldn’t quite pin down where that feeling was for years because I was a track runner and it never translated. Got back on a bike a couple of years ago for more dedicated road biking, it instantly came back. I used to spend hours and hours every week shredding down my street on a bmx bike seeing how fast I could get going until I went so fast I crashed and broke my collar bone. Feels good to be back in touch with that sense.
