>>1709796Lol damn. Reminds me of a developer who bought a plot of land in Mountain Brook, Alabama (wealthy suburb) and he wanted to put a Whole Foods on it.
The people in the surrounding neighborhoods went up in arms against it, saying it would ruin the neighborhood and all that bullshit so they blocked construciton. The developer thought blocking a grocery was ridiculous so he juist made a giant dirt pile on the site and invited everyone to come dump their dirt there.
There was nothing they could do to stop him so eventually the relented. Now the area is a thriving Whole Foods and all the neighbors who brought the pitchforks out against it shop there everyday. There's a neighboring mixed use development with condos/apartments/offices and retail.
