tbf i think basically all post privatisation suburban emus are very nice but the vertical carriage walls of desiros make them feel spacious

all lines except for RB81 run hourly
RB81 runs every 30 minutes
RE8/RE80 combine for a 30 minute interval, all other overlapping lines combine for irregular intervals

the S bahn is a metro network for hamburg, and the akn is kinda like a metro network but for the northern suburbs

The two car shuttle service from Grove Park to Bromley North is kino as fuck - bolted rather than continuously welded rail, beautiful 1930's terminus too. Definitely worth the trip to see it if you can!

450s are kinda universal actually. They may do that Waterloo-Waterloo via Weybridge service or go as far as Portsmouth. In fact 450/5 HCs are the only units primarily intended for suburban services I think

also yeah Bromley North is a beautiful station (shame South isn't as picturesque) but though the shuttle service is comfy as hell, I do think the station is a bit underutilised (I remember seeing a possible proposal to extend the tram network from Beckenham to there which could be a nice idea)
