I live in Seattle and there is some dude in my neighborhood who I always see riding his TT bike around. It seems absolutely awful; every little bump in the road sounds like a car crash

If I had a TT bike I'd definitely commute on it, and I often think about getting one just for that. My commute is flat with great quality roads and very few traffic lights. Right now I use on a fixed gear with 36 cm bars (if I could get narrower for a reasonable price I would) and can comfortably cruise along at 40 km/h. A TT bike would be even better

it's too short for a road bike. you anglos are full of yourselves. an 80s road bike is not nearly as nice as a proper modern fixie. a proper modern road bike is overkill if you don't ride long distances with steep climbs and descents.

put my daily TT bike in for service today so gonna be commuting on my MTB again. went for the full meme so all new cables, brake and gear adjustment, new tubes cause mine are losing 20-40 psi a day, some derailleur parts, replaced my clipless pedals with flat pedals
