The idea replacement for a car is a mixture of walking and public transit. I posted the scooter because I thought it’s funny. Plus it’s superior to cars in one way: it puts drivers in a reasonably alike position to other traffic. Ask motor bikers what they think about your average driver? We’ve made cars into excessively safe cages, and we should put drivers at a greater risk of dying if they crash.
