Heh nice Trek bro. Plastic and aluminum huh? Well I guess you might like that, if you're brainwashed. Me, not so much. I'm a surly guy. A little ironic, a little bad ass, a little bit of a do-it-yourselfer. You see, for me, cycling is about more than just having the latest bells and whistles. It's about quality, durability, and a go-anyewhere kinda ride, you know? I don't want to be a part of the pack, just another consumer drone chasing the next big thing. Hell, after a ride sometimes I stop by the bar in my cycling gear. It's not much really, just drove cutoff style stretch jeans from online, black T with a band logo on it. Nothing special. I'm just a regular dude who enjoys a good beer and some laughs. Maybe I smoke weed sometimes, maybe I don't. All I know is that steel suits my lifestyle. And it lasts a lifetime. That's what I'm about. So think about that next time you want to tell me Surly isn't a real cycling brand. Maybe you'll learn that riding fast isn't really all that fun, and adult men on bikes should ride something a bit more substantial than something made outta plastic, maybe. Not to be a chud or nothing, I just think it's a little silly is all. But, you go ahead and let your flag fly bro. For me, it's a Surly built out in quality square taper vintage cranks, 1x chairing hacked, sram 1x, and some sweet sweet bb7s. Brooks saddle, ESI chunkies, Jones bar.. That's the ride for me
