The money they receive will probably head to the second phase of Second Ave Subway, and a few other capital projects that really only benefit the sitting mayor/governor who approve them by making shiny new stations like the $4 billion dollar Oculus that got Cuomo a lot of press, without a single foot of new track.
The MTA will still continue to suck for the foreseeable future but it should hopefully be better overall than previous years
