I can imagine it should be more rigid than spring steel alloys commonly used, maybe similar to aluminium. And at the same time it is heavier than aluminium of course. However you get an ultra strong frame that will literally last forever and will never have anything but the most superficial layer of oxidation even after sitting in the rain for a hundred years. It can also be easily welded (even with regular steel if you're in a pinch).
So what's the deal? Why aren't more bikes made out of stainless? Picture very related.
