I may do this. I usually ride a 48/17, so I'm thinking of going with a 42 or 44. Might just run it stock for a bit and use the parts until they break.

Then I wouldn't mind tricking it out with a Ti seatpost/Cockpit, but we'll see how it performs before I do all that.

Fixed gear so it can't climb hills.

Rigid fork so it can't handle trails.

MTB tires so it can't go on the road.

Cheapest upgrade would be a 2nd hand groupset or crappy 29'er fork but even it would be a special needs bike that does nothing well.

OP you need to return the bike or sell it and buy something useful.

2.6" tires and rigid cromo frame are a reasonable level of passive suspension.

Rigid fork is a mean. I laughed out loud when I finally rode a rigid fork after reading that it's a night and day difference from a locked out fork. Fuck you autistic shills. It's the same shit but a few ounces heavier

You need gears, even if you live in perfectly flat Kansas and have 1000 miles of flat dirt roads and flatter streets.
You'll appreciate suspension whether you ride like grandpa or an athlete.
Nice low frame but no dropper seat post another downside.

Honestly the only thing going for it is the sweet color, which validates swapping the fork and getting at least a couple gears on the rear.

Bike components are too reliable now to justify SS.

Everything else if 23-25 sometimes 28mm if you have horrible streets.
