>>1735308well, in the picture, it looks to be laid next to a pathway, or a roadway, or a something-way. i'd wager that it's not meant to be a deadly mantrap or something, it's simply a 'don't walk here, you are not welcome and it is not allowed' tactile thing. if you take a trespasser to court, they can't fall back on the 'well i didn't see the signs and it's not like there was a fence or anything' defence, because there's a big spiky 'unwelcome mat' that they damn well saw, and deliberately walked over.
