2 cups oats
1 tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon oil (coconut and sesame are my favorite but any will do, not olive oil though lol)
1 tablespoon sugar (optional, depends on how sweet you want them, I usually dust the top of the mixture with sugar instead of blending it in, so you get a caramelized crust on top)
1 egg
then add whatever nuts/dried fruits/chocolate chips/seeds you have, and a splash of water if the mixture is too dense/dry
spread on flat tray
bake for 15-20 minutes at 170°C
remove from oven, let cool, cut in bars, wa la!
you can also make them raw by replacing the flour and egg with a couple mushed bananas and popping them in the fridge instead of the oven, they'll be softer and moistier but harder to pocket and eat on the go
