Alright what's the consensus on cheap carbon wheelsets from aliexpress ebay dhgate?

I have a old fixie bike I'd like to build up. Thinking of getting 27.5" MTB wheels and putting on ~45mm tires.
I don't want 700c skinnies, just bigger balloon tires.

Will only ride smooth pavement with very few hills.

Will the wheels explode and shoot spokes up into my leg artery? Or is that just a j3w1sh trick?
