I don't drive, I never got my licence (anxiety around operating moving vehicle that can easily kill people) and I love buses/trains, I can get around anywhere almost, I don't need to be anywhere in particular fast so I don't need to drive, unless I needed to go to the middle of nowhere then a car would be useful, otherwise I made peace with my choice, even if I had a licence I probably wouldn't have a car as they cosy thousands a year to maintain and run, I'd rather use that money for hobbies and expenses.

i used to have the same anxiety and i have noticed many people do. i got over it and have a license for car, motorcycle, and forklift now i'd still rather just be able to cycle and take the train everywhere though. maybe motorcycle a bit if i lived in a place like england before the motorway network ruined everything
