how do i clean oil from this part here? I put too much of it and now the seat won't stay straight

Take the entire seat post out, wipe with a rag, reinsert, twist it around collect extra oil and junk, take out wipe down again. Put thin (really thin) layer of oil (this is 1 area where wd40 is actually fine on a bike) and wipe that thin layer off, making it thinner, and installed/ clamp down seat post.

you can buy something called carbon paste
it holds the seat post in place and at the same time it won't give you any trouble removing it when you want to

not really, but technically speaking, if your bike is alu/steel you can tighten it enough without worry for it to sit steady
also you shouldn't be using oil there, use a thick grease instead (or carbon paste)

it's probably actually dirty inside the seat tube
clean it with a toothbrush dipped in kerosene and a rag on a stick

be minimal with all things because you do not want stuff dripping into your bottom bracket

then grease it

Why grease? It's not a moving part. It just shouldn't seize, and shouldn't rust (on steel frame)

grease is thicker and will last better
I don't think you'll find anyone recommending oiling a seatpost

Also it's not rust, it's aluminium oxide produced by galvanic corrosion which basically welds an alluminium post to a steel frame.

I think grease between clamped metal parts actually also facilitates tightening. You're supposed to grease bar clamps also

Also check the bolt on the clamp isn't dirty or rusty. If it is it won't hold as well as it should.
