When a company buys a corporate jet, who flies it? Do they have a dedicated corporate pilot whose only job is to fly the corporate jet?

Crews work on charter. Most jets do too, it's rare for all but the largest companies to actually proper own a jet.

Ed Force One - the pilot did some other work for the company in addition to flying the corporate jet.

Depends on the company. Some of the largest ones actually have their own pilot(s) and others just charter them out.

Company buys a % of an aircraft without the expense of ownership.
Managing company has pilots and cabin attendants on staff, full time.
Other companies offer blocks of flight time at a fixed rate per year.

Yes at the business where I work (popular home decor brand) there is a specific job as company pilot who only works a small portion of the year for the highest up bigwigs and I believe is on salary or some form of guaranteed pay

Buddy quit his nice eng job to copilot with his pops. Produce company owns a plane & they are both nicely salaried to basically kart execs from time to time, and kick it in whatever town the dudes are in for the duration of the visit. What a hook up.

Depends on the company. A big place like apple or walmart has a flight department in the corporate structure. There always fractionals if the overhead is too much for you. Usually if a company wholly owns their jet, they have pilots dedicated to flying it and nothing else. Alot of AF1 pilots go directly to fly for coca cola when they retire.
