>>1756837I assume the design spec resulted in making them larger, due the space needed for the batteries.
So somebody went into CAD and a simulator software, and just landed on the most aero design. Instead of trying to make them more boxy, like their euro counterparts:
>>1756825As for why there isn't a aero kit spoiler for the trailer I have no idea, but it might be that 80km/h is too slow to benefit from more aero. Even if its fuel saved.
>why do they look unique? So its a brand thing.
>will they deliver in 2022?Who knows.
The current state seem to be that everything is on hold because Tesla is still upscaling, and is prioritizing their car models over actual expansion.
>>1756536>200mile range vehicle>Wants to drive twice that>fast charging only works for half the batteryIts still 2022 anon.
Either you get a Tesla, or you get a shitty commute car.
The ID4 just suffers the same problem as everyone else: Somebody wanted to cheap out on the batteries, most likely to reduce weight, and the end result is that its a horrible experience once you go over the actual range + 1 fast charge.
