I'm in favor of pedestrian streets in cities and changing urbanization patterns and investing in public transport. But I HATE people who are anti-car. I use my car to drive wherever I want when I want and if they ban me from public transport I will always have my car (until self-driving cars require good boy points to go).

Public transport needs to be an option... a very appealing option in urbanized areas. But relinquishing control of your own movement is suicide.
