They are interesting, but that front chainring needs to be a lot bigger. Smallest cog on the back 11t max. Another problem would be crappy roads, I would imagine

I mean they just came out with a 17 pound 4 speed one. Full titanium and hollow in certain parts.. Not sure how it will hold up as it's still in a beta test of sorts, but brompton is a high quality manufacturer and won't put out something that breaks easily. It costs so much fucking money that I will not be able to buy it for years but it is atleast interesting.

I'm still saving up for a regular 6 speed. I'd like to bring it with me as I travel.

I had one in university, used to buy two crates of beer and then sit on top of the crates on that janky ass little rack while pedaling home. Also it jumped off curbs super sweet but eventually I started scraping the pedals in corners and realized that I bent the frame slightly with every jump. Brakes are shit though, coaster in the rear and spoon brake in the front, absolutely useless.

the thing is like $5,400.

apparently, the full titanium does make it a much smoother ride. but also you can pick it up with like 2 fingers, so strictly on size and weight it is pretty impressive.

folders are great. I bought one a couple of years ago and it I'm just going to ride a bike path or go sight seeing is 90% as effective as a full bike and you barely noticed the different between 20" wheels and 700c if you're going slow on flat ground
