Hey I’m 18 years old and I’m one year away from having my CPL multi IFR with night rating plus a college diploma of airline pilot. With 250 hours. I’m spending around 60k and my parents force me to work, not because it will depend on my salary but because they want to see me show responsibility. Most kids my age go to a normal college full time, I feel very old, i have zero friends and haven’t had a single human interaction in the last 6 months (except for flying with my instructor). My only very close friend (who I see once every 3 months) goes to normal college and is very sociable and has many friends. Yeah he’s mentally weak due to his adhd and his cringe display of being a people pleaser. But he goes to parties and kisses with women (he’s still a virgin). I don’t want that but I am so anxious right now. I feel like my world has collapsed. I feel old.
