Why is this lazy excuse always brought up whenever people talk about making transit better. An insane or violent person behind the wheel of a car is many degrees more dangerous than one on a bus.

I train commute daily in Boston and can count bad experiences with people on one hand. Meanwhile driving here with all of the mutts is almost intolerable.
