Can someone recommend a helmet that fits big heads but doesn’t look like a huge mushroom head? I got a big head (60cm) and the only helmet I found in stores that fits looks like shit.

this is pro logic because during a race they will never take their helmet off, but they will often take their glasses off, and the glasses are a piece of disposable kit

however it's not the same for a regular person wearing prescription glasses, and glasses arms over straps just means you're likely to forget, take off your helmet, and break your glasses.

If you want to have an unracer pissing contest then your argument should be that op doesn't need a helmet at all.

The fact is, straps over the glasses puts a huge amount of stress on the hinges, so unless you want to buy special commuting-only eyeglasses that you throw out every 3 months, helmet straps go under the glasses. You'd know this if you actually put in any real mileage with prescription glasses and didn't just buy bike stuff to virtue signal to transit twitter.

I have a 7 7/8 head and I ride a roadbike. I use the specialized align II with MIPS. It's only like $55 USD. It's large enough to wear a cap under it.

A 60cm head isn't even big. Podgcar uses a Met Trents MIPS their L fits 59-61cm heads. I think you're wasting $250 but buy whatever helmet makes you want to wear your helmet the most.
